Went to watch the Proms with Marianne and some of her friends from Music College. We got arena standing seats and had a fantastic view from the very top of the Albert Hall down to the orchestra below. As it wasn't very packed we just sat listening to the music or leant over the balcony to watch the orchestra. Some people had brought pic-nics and were eating whilst watching. Another guy was casually reading a magazine, casually sat against the wall at the back. I lay down for a while and looked up at the ceiling while the orchestra played "La Mer" by Debussy. It was really relaxing - I'd love to return and just sit down with my sketchbook and draw whilst listening to the music below.
